For Spooling Services & Rig Builders

Line is your raw material. Buy it like one.

A spooling station or rig bench turns line into a finished product every day. Buying that line in retail spools means paying a brand's packaging and margin on every fill. Bulk spools in the sizes you run, pull-tested every batch, from a single spool.

The spooling-station problem

What every spooling service and rig builder runs into

Your customers pay for a filled reel or a finished rig, not for a brand name. That makes line a cost of goods — and a cost of goods has to be steady in price, steady in quality and always in stock.

Cost per fill

Retail spools eat the margin

Every fill you sell carries someone else's packaging and brand premium

Bulk turns line from a purchase into a cost of goods
  • Big-brand bulk is priced off the retail spool, not off what the line costs to make
  • The 150–300 yd retail spool is the most expensive way there is to buy line by the yard
  • Volume discounts from big brands come with dealer accounts and pallet commitments
Consistency

Batch drift becomes your problem

Two spools labelled the same should behave the same on the machine and on the water

±0.010 mm diameter, batch after batch
  • Diameter drift changes how much line a reel takes — and your fill counts with it
  • Rigs tied from a drifting batch inherit the drift; your customer blames your rig, not the line
  • Cheap coatings shed dye and grind down spooling machines and guides
Stock

The sizes you run are the sizes that are out

A spooling station cannot tell a customer to come back next month

Your sizes, made to be stocked
  • Big brands stock bulk in the sizes that fill a catalogue, not the ones a station goes through fastest
  • Substituting a different brand mid-season means re-learning fill counts and knots
  • One out-of-stock size can idle a machine and a bench for weeks
The cost-per-fill math

How much line does your station go through in a year?

Move the sliders to your operation. The number that comes out is the volume we would quote as bulk spools — at bulk pricing, not retail.

How it works

Three steps from your bench to a bulk spool on the machine

Step 1

Tell us what you run

Sizes, colors, roughly how many fills a week. We ship a free sample spool from US stock so you can run it on your own machine first.

Step 2

Get a written quote

Size, length and volume quoted direct and in writing. From one spool; mixed sizes on one order.

Step 3

Receive and reorder

In-stock sizes leave in 7 days, duty-paid to your door. Reorder the same spec and get the same diameter, batch after batch.

Straight answers

Questions spooling services and rig builders ask

What is the minimum order?
One bulk spool of 1,000 m in an in-stock size and color. There is no dealer account and no container commitment; you scale up when your volume does.
Can I mix sizes and colors in one order?
Yes, for in-stock line. Sizes and colors can be combined within one order, so a station can stock the five sizes it runs on one invoice.
Will the coating mark my spooling machine?
No. We use water-based dyeing and a high-density nano coating that is colorfast and does not shed dye or leave residue on spooling equipment.
Will my fill counts stay the same from batch to batch?
Diameter is held to ±0.010 mm and the label number is the measured micrometer number, so the same size takes up the same space on the reel from one batch to the next.
Is the pound test real?
Every batch is pull-tested on a calibrated bench before dispatch; measured break runs 5–10% above the label rating. Batch test data is available with your order on request.
How long to get it to me?
In-stock sizes dispatch within 7 days; air freight to the US typically takes 7–12 days after that, express 3–5 days at higher cost. Shipping is DDP — duties are handled by us and included in the invoice.
Can the spool carry my station's name?
Yes. The spool label can carry your requirements, and we can print custom adhesive logo labels — and design the label for you if needed.
How do I test it first?
Ask for the free 150 m Pro Grade X8 sample spool — it ships from our US stock for business enquiries. Run it on your machine and fish it, then decide.
