01 · Stretch & shock

Great shock-absorbing stretch

The give in nylon protects the rod tip and hooks and prevents fish tear-off, absorbing the burst of a mid-to-large fish where stiffer lines fail.

02 · Knots & handling

Good knot strength, easy to tie

Low knot threshold — ordinary knots hold well. Soft and smooth for long-distance casting and easy handling on the water.

03 · Cost & bulk

Cost-effective for volume

Lower cost than PE and fluorocarbon, and ideal for bulk spool and fishing-reel backing — the natural fit for high-volume export programs.

04 · Water behavior

Slow-sinking, near-neutral

Slightly denser than water for a slow sink that suits float fishing, shore fishing and part of the lure and sea-rod range.

05 · Production

Mature process, easy backing
