01 · Tensile performance
Higher breaking strength at the same diameter
Big pound-tests in a thin diameter, so the reel holds more line. Near-zero stretch sends the bite signal straight to your hand for fast hooksets, and the raw strength handles big fish, saltwater and pulling hard against structure.
02 · Diameter & casting
Thinner line, longer casts
At the same pound-test, PE runs far thinner than nylon. Less air and water drag means longer casts and a faster sink to find the fish-holding layer.
03 · Abrasion & environment
Abrasion resistant, non-absorbent
Outlasts nylon against rocks, sunken wood and pilings. It doesn't absorb water, so strength and diameter hold when wet — and it resists saltwater corrosion.
04 · Practical use
Low memory, high sensitivity
No coil for smooth line lay off the spool, and enough sensitivity to feel bottom structure and light bites. Suits lure, sea, boat and long-cast fishing, and makes ideal bulk-spool backing.
05 · Durability
Long shelf life, UV stable
Braid doesn't go brittle from UV the way nylon does. Long outdoor service life with slow performance loss over time.
